TV review : “Pretty hard Cases”

Pretty hard Cases takes place in Toronto. We follow the joys and tribulations of two women detectives. 

Adrienne Moore, who plays detective Kelly, is terrific, believable and likeable. The dialogues and situations are sometimes funny. 

It could have been a great TV series if the actors had not been asked (or forced) to speak at 100mph and (with the exception of Adrienne Moore) move around like puppets on amphetamines. This hysterical activity means that the whole show sounds and feels hollow. I gave up half-way through the second episode.
