Tess
Gerritsen : a great storyteller. She also writes scripts for Rizzoli and Iles.
How is a writer supposed to deal with the literary description of physical love ? Somehow, I don’t
think Gerritsen is typical in that respect. In Whistle-blower, the two main
characters kiss feverishly at the most awkward of times, especially when they
are hurt or chased by bad people, which in real life, and in similar circumstances, would mean that they would
be racked with pain and fear, or both. Passionate kissing would be the last thing on their minds. This is so psychologically unrealistic
that it spoiled my enjoyment of the story, but not enough to keep me
from wanting to read another novel by Tess.
