BBC bias

 Interested in History, I watched a BBC production on the fall of Rome in 410. Did Rome fall because the Roman empire had overextended itself ? Not at all. According to the BBC, it fell because of the negative attitude of Romans towards immigrants. The message is hammered without subtelty as if we, the televison viewers, were a bit thick.

Like millions of people, I would regret the passing of the BBC. Brian Cox, David Attenborough and many others have, with the support of the BBC, produced an array of beautiful and fascinating programmes, but it feels at times as if the BBC is trying to commit suicide.
